The Peak Roofclean Ltd team recently received a call to see what we could do for a small roof in Chesterfield. This miniature roof was peppered with moss and lichen, the roof was in desperate need of cleaning.
Luckily for this customer, they had called us before the moss and lichens had caused any serious damage to their concrete tiles, therefore all this roof needed was a thorough deep clean.
Lichens can cause damage to concrete tiles. This occurs because moss and lichens absorb some of the rainwater after a downfall. The rainwater they hold sits against your roof causing erosion.
To prevent your tiles from eroding, you need to take action and get in touch.
After cleaning the roof. We cleared the decking of all moss that had fallen off the roof.
As you can see from the picture above, our work has transformed the presentation of the house. This customer was extremely happy with the results.
